Welcome to Hereford Triathlon Club.
We have members of all abilities, shapes and sizes. No experience is necessary but we do require you to able to swim 400m front crawl (at any speed) before attending our swimming sessions. If you’ve got any questions then please just get in touch – email@example.com
We are run entirely by volunteers, none of our coaches, committee members or marshals are paid. They give up their time to make our club the great club that it is. We ask that all of our members volunteer to marshal at one of our three organised events in the year - all of the money raised helps to subsidise our club sessions, pay for the coaching courses and subsidise the club kit.
You can also keep up to date with the club news on Facebook and Twitter @herefordtri
We are a Triathlon England affiliated club.
We cater for adults from 16 years and upwards (and upwards, there's no upper limit!) If you'd like to join the club please fill in the online membership form - https://www.entrycentral.com/club/105869
As the club has grown very quickly and is continuing to attract new members, we have capped numbers for our swim sessions. If we are able to recruit more volunteer coaches we may be able to increase the number of sessions in future years.
We work closely with our friends at Ludlow Junior Triathlon Club who hold sessions regularly in Herefordshire. If you're aged from 7 to 16 and are interested in taking up triathlon please contact them at: www.ludlowjuniortriathlonclub.wordpress.com E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Dozens of club members have been enjoying the winter cross country season. There are 5 winter and 4 summer league races in the Herefordshire Cross Country league. All the races are free for club members and organised by volunteers from across the region’s running clubs. The annual Muddy Woody, organised by our friends at Wye Valley Runners, is always a highlight in the year. It was, indeed, muddy, woody and hilly!
